Ghost Recon: The New Wave Of Shooters?

Shooters are fun, but what is the one thing they all have in common? Horrible AI, not putting enough effort into it to make it worth putting it in the single player campaign, so they mainly focus on the multiplayer aspect of it. However, there is a new game changer coming to us in the form of a futuristic soldier game, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. The folks over at Ubisoft have worked hard on trying to make the AI of your squad mates and enemies much smarter than normal shooters, putting more emphasis on a single player experience that will be fun for all.
According to Ubisoft, "We've actually implemented this new ordering system which is based on targets and our teammates just get into position intelligently and their AI is developed in a way that they stay out of the line of sight of the enemies and stay invisible, or almost invisible, as much as possible and then they wait for me to either give the order to shoot or just take part in the shooting." This statement is making me hope and believe that it will be very tactical based, and every decision and order that you make will effect the campaign story and how upcoming AI will react to you and your squad mates and adjust their strategy as well in an attempt to kill your squad. With strong AI, Ubisoft states that your AI squad will not get in your way and will not put you in danger of being revealed to the enemy earlier than you want to be, putting military tactics in your hands, and testing your ability to be a squad commander and leading your team effectively through combat.
I know for myself, since getting my PS3, I have begun to focus more on single player games, so this is sure to be a fun way to play a good quality shooter by yourself, while still giving you that experience of playing with your friends, only being able to spend that time alone without annoying headsets. There will of course be online and co-op, so make sure to play through the campaigns, and probably learn tactical options from the AI, then you and your friends can tackle the co-op or even take multiplayer by storm, lets just hope that Ubisoft does not disappoint with this title, dropping on May 22nd, 2012, for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.
